BEACHES IN PORTO

Located to the west of the city, Porto’s shore and the surrounding area have around 10Km of trails for walking, running or cycling. Perfect if you’re looking for a moment to reconnect with nature.

Here the beaches are all blue flags with excellent conditions for bathing with modern support equipment and bicycle parks. They are lined with some of the town’s best restaurants and bars, offering delicious fresh fish and other local dishes.

It is a small beach with golden sand, located next to Monte da Luz, where you can find a lighthouse and a fort.

Praia do Molhe is one of the best beaches in Porto.

This beach has a Blue Flag award and an extension around 168 meters of sand. This place is one of the most illustrated postcards of Porto.

The beach has a sumptuous staircase, with numerous bars that have well-kept balconies, from which you can enjoy views of the sea.

 

Praia Homem do Leme

Located just aside of Avenida de Montevideo, Homem do Leme Beach owes its name to a statue next to the sand. This small rocky beach offers beautiful views and is extremely pleasant for a few hours of leisure by the sea.

Just in next door there is a small playground, making this beach ideal for families with children.
